TO REGISTER PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STEPS
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST REGISTER FOR VCL MEMBERSHIP TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY VCL RACE. WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR A RACE, MAKE SURE YOU USE THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS YOU USED FOR YOUR MEMBERSHIP.
STEP 1 - PURCHASE A VCL MEMBERSHIP

Victoria Based Participants are to pay a $35 Membership for the Timing Chip fee and as a bond for our volunteer participation program. Racers visiting from outside Victoria and Vancouver Island may have their fee waived by using the "VCLNonmember2026" coupon code. Contact info@victoriacyclingleague for any issues or questions.
STEP 2 - REGISTER FOR YOUR VCL RACES

Race registration to be handled by online through Panache Cycling Sports and managed by Webscorer.
Refer to Pricing Below for registration fees. Fee updated yearly at the discretion of VCL.
Online registration will close 24h before the start of the race. Day of onsite registration is available; a $25 surcharge will apply for all day of registrations.
Rider Sign-in will open one (1) hour before the start of the first race and close 10min before the start of the last race.
Riders will be assigned a number for the whole series in accordance with Article 13, a new number will only be assigned in the event a rider changes category. Riders that choose to “race down” for a race will keep their assigned number and will not be eligible for points.

MEMBERSHIP - $35 (Adult 19+) / $25 (U19) - Note that this can be reimbursed if the participant volunteers for any one VCL Race.
NEWTON HEIGHTS - $35 (Adult 19+) / $25 (U19)
WINDSOR PARK - $50 (Adult 19+) / $40 (U19)
CHERRY POINT - $50 (Adult 19+) / $40 (U19)
NORTH SAANICH - $50 (Adult 19+) / $40 (U19)
GVVA - $20 (Adult 19+) / $15 (U19) Includes Track Bike Rental

Important Information
All participants must be members of Cycling BC and are required to have a valid racing license and racing insurance. Participants are also encouraged to join a local cycling club in order to obtain the required license and racing insurance.
Category A, B, and C Group racers must have a Cycling BC Provincial Race License. D Group racers may have either a Cycling BC Provincial Race License or a "Cycling For All" License.

Rules / Regulations
The VCL series rules are consistent with UCI and Cycling Canada rules and regulations. The VCL is committed to following the rules and regulations of the sport, to fair play, and to providing a safe environment for racers and spectators alike.
